Since the company's founding in 1946 in Albany, Georgia, Alcon has
positioned itself in the construction industry by successfully
developing five divisions: Healthcare, Institutional,
Industrial/Commercial, Multi-Family and Municipal.
In an economy of change, Alcon
has been able to manage and grow our company through down turns in the
different divisions. Alcon has gained the advantage of developing
extremely qualified personnel in all areas of construction, and the
company has been recognized with many national and state awards.
As Alcon has grown in both
size and reputation, we opened two additional offices – one in Columbus,
Georgia and one in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Alcon continues to
undertake difficult projects and complete them to the total satisfaction
of the owner. The quality and expertise of our people combined with a
commitment to meet or exceed the client’s needs contributes to quality
construction projects completed on time and in budget.
Continuing education and
training for our people, with a focus on safety, has enabled us to
maintain an exceptional Experience Modification Factor (EMF). We are
able to pass these savings on to our clients.
